How to stay healthy during quarantine

LIKE ALL OF YOU, I HAVE BEEN ON A SELF QUARANTINE FOR A WEEK. I HAVE A SON WHO IS HIGH RISK AND MY MOM WHO WEIGHS ABOUT THE SAME AS HER  AGE (SHE IS 84). AS SUCH, I PERSONALLY FEEL THE PRESSURE TO STAY HEALTHY, SO THAT I PROTECT MY FAMILY BY NOT GIVING THIS VIRUS TO THEM. 

I AM SHARING SOME OF THE THINGS WE ARE DOING TO TRY TO STAY HEALTHY AND ACTIVE: (YES, I ALSO HAVE OTHER CHILDREN AT HOME WHO ARE NOT ALLOWED TO LEAVE OR HAVE VISITORS. I AM NOT ALWAYS A POPULAR MOM) 

  • GO FOR WALKS! KEEP YOUR DISTANCE OR WALK AROUND OTHERS, BUT WALKING BUILDS YOUR IMMUNE SYSTEM AND HELPS YOU FROM GETTING CABIN FEVER 
  • RIDE A BIKE 
  • EAT HEALTHY. YOUR CANNED AND PROCESSED FOODS CAN WAIT TILL YOU NEED THEM. EAT FRESH FRUITS AND VEGETABLES. THEY TOO BUILD YOUR IMMUNE SYSTEM 
  • TAKE 2000 MG OF VITAMIN C A DAY. EMERGEN C IS GREAT 
  • I HAVE INCLUDED A WORKOUT TO DO WHILE WATCHING TV OR TAKING A BREAK FROM FAMILY IN A QUITE PLACE IN THE HOUSE AND LISTEN TO YOUR MUSIC WHILE TONING YOUR ARMS AND CORE 
  • RESPECT THOSE AROUND YOU, BE KIND AND PRAY THAT THIS VIRUS WILL SOON FADE
