TAKE YOUR PACKAGE OF FRESH OKRA AND
WASH
CUT INTO CIRCLES, PUT IN A BOWL
TOSS WITH 1 TABLESPOONS OF OLIVE OIL AND
COOK IN A PAN FOR 10 MINUTES COVERED.

PUT BACK IN THE PAN AND MIX WITH 1⁄2 CUP
OF CORN MEAL. MIX TILL COATED AND PUT
BACK IN THE PAN. ADD A DASH OF CAYENNE,
DASH OF SALT AND A DASH OF PEPPER (TRUE
SOUTHERN RECIPE- FULL OF DASHES)
COOK ANOTHER 6 – 7 MINUTES (TILL CRISPY)
AND SERVE!
