STRESS

                                       

Stressing about opening and closing of schools? Corona? Work? Relationships? Weight? When our bodies are stressed, we create high levels of cortisol (a steroid hormone). We need cortisol, but too much can cause excess weight, especially around our mid-section.

Take a breather. Find a relaxing place so you can forget the stresses of life for a
while. We found that this weekend at Tranquility farms. We went flower
picking with the family! Everyone received scissors and a basket and had a blast
in the flower field. We even got exercise running from a few bees! We picked
50 flowers and barely spent 10 dollars! Cannot beat that. But the 2 stress free
hours were priceless!
